Virgil Exner’s design of the 1960 300F was one of the boldest of his career, and both coupe and convertible models were still low-production exclusives. One of just 248 built and one of a small few fully equipped convertible. has received a full body restoration highlighted by excellent fit and finish throughout and stunning chrome and bright work, including the period correct Kelsey Hayes chromed wire wheels. The interior is superbly finished in Beige leather with Black dash and carpets, swivel front bucket seats, power windows, power seats and power top. The Astra-Dome instrument group contains controls for heat & vent, radio and the push-button transmission.

The engine compartment houses the new-for-1960 413/375 HP “Wedge” V-8, distinguished by its unique cross ram intake system with dual 4-barrel carburetors. The pristine undercarriage showcases the well-engineered torsion-bar suspension that provided the handling prowess and stable high-speed ride that put the 300F in a class by itself.

The restoration, included hot steam stripped to bare metal uncovering a flawless original body, no rust or signs of damage, no expense was spared. All chassis and components underside were done in impact proof semi-gloss epoxy.
